Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC)
House of Hope Foundation, Inc. provides program services for the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Our operational hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Wednesday’s will be for workshops, forums, and outreach activities for the community.
The LITC workshops cover the following topics, but are not limited to:
- Education about Examination issues;
- Education about collection issues;
- Information about Innocent Spouse;
- Information about Appeals;
- Information about Offer-In-Compromise;
- Information about Employee-Employer issues;
- Information about Earned Income Tax Credit;
- Information about Rights and Responsibilities of taxpayer;
- Information about the Tax Advocate Service.
